While Arizona is a desert it also has many lakes and rivers throughout the state which provide lots of opportunities for Scouts to enjoy the water. If this is being part of the Council's Colorado River Run event, a camping trip where the only access to the site is traveling over water or just getting out for a day on a lake; Troop 17 makes part of our annual schedule to get out on the water.
